Digital Performance Workshops – June, July & August 2017
Across June and July 2017 Flavourfy Digital are hosting small workshops (limited to 5 places) to help Dorset businesses with their digital marketing strategies. The workshops are 1.5 hours long and cost £50 each to attend.
There are a number of workshops to join. Come along to all of them or just pick the ones you have a particular interest in. They’re being hosted at the Tincleton Gallery, Tincleton, Nr Dorchester, Dorset.
Workshop One: Digital Marketing
Join this intimate workshop exploring how the five main aspects of digital marketing (web, SEO, social media, content and analytics) all fit together for the ultimate digital marketing strategy.
At the end of the session you’ll have an overview of how digital marketing works as well as a copy of the digital marketing “high-five” and the Total Digital Awesomeness model
Workshop Two: Twitter
Join this intimate workshop which will look at Twitter, how it works and how you can get the best results from it as a platform for digital marketing. We’ll also have a look at some tools you can use to help best schedule your tweets.
At the end of the session you’ll have a good understanding of Twitter and how to best use it as part of your social media marketing strategy.
Workshop Three: Facebook
Facebook is often seen as the easy social media network to use for a business, but whilst it may be easy to set up a business page, getting customers to engage with it, can be difficult. Join this intimate workshop which will look at Facebook, how it works and how you can get the best results from it as a platform for digital marketing.
At the end of the session you’ll have a good understanding of Facebook marketing and how to best use it as part of your social media marketing strategy.
Workshop Four: Beginner Guide to SEO
Every business strives to get themselves on the front page of Google. One of the ways to do that is to play around with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques. Come along to this intimate workshop to find out some of the basics of SEO.
At the end of the session you’ll have a good understanding of how SEO works and will be able to make some changes to your own website to help with your own rankings.
Workshop Five: Google Analytics
Google Analytics can be quite daunting with all the various options, but actually for most SMEs you just need to pick out some of the basic elements to be able to work out how effective your digital marketing strategy is and what visitors are doing when they arrive on your site. In this final part of the Digital Performance Workshops we’ll be looking at the basics of Google Analytics and its role as part of your digital marketing strategy.
At the end of the session you’ll have a basic understanding of Google Analytics and how to read the key stats.
Workshop Six: LinkedIn
LinkedIn is not always seen as a channel to use for digital marketing purposes. Despite its efforts to change how people think about it, LinkedIn is still seen by some as a platform for documenting your CV and finding a job. In fact, you can apply a strategy to the way you use LinkedIn and use it as an additional tool to promote your business both in terms of finding new opportunities and content marketing.
At the end of the session you’ll have a good understanding of LinkedIn and how to get the best out of it for your business.
